Match report Weather was perfect for cricket and match started on time at 9:00am.
LCC won the toss and elected to bat first. Vijay and Naren started well by scoring runs regularly, but departed soon. Gowtham (19) and Vivek (26) steadied the innings in the middle with their excellent partnership. Prithvi (15) and Danny (11) fireworks in the end led LCC to 129. Kiran and Danny were the pick of the Hunter's bowlers with 2 scalps each at an economical spell. Hunters got off a poor start losing Vamsi and Pavan early. Sandeep (28), Pradeep (21) and Kiran (11) led a dramatic effort to sail the Hunter's boat to shore but Naren with his magical 5-wicket haul overwhelmed them. In the end, Hunters fell short by 28 runs. LCC captured a well-deserved victory. For his excellent spell, Naren was adjudged MOM. Hunters felt that LCC could have done better in umpiring. But all in all it was a well fought fair game, which LCC deserved to take home.
