Match report The first contest between Hunters and Challengers for the season took place on a dampy, sunny and humidy Sunday. Hunters won toss and put on Challengers to bat hoping to exploit wet outfield. Vijay and Aditya took off to a good start and got rid of dangerous Bhaskar for a duck (courtesy of Pavan's safe hands). Much to the despair of Hunters hopes Lenin like the original Communist Revolution entered the ground and built a solid innings with shots around the field. He reached a well deserved HALF century and it took a great throw from Amit to get him out of field. Srinivas, Arun and Chaithanya were other double digit scorers. Danny was the pick of the bowlers with his economical 2 wicket spell. Aditya had 3 scalps to his name, while Pavan claimed 2.

Hunters trying to chase 137 started with Vamsi and Pradeep. Pradeep was in a hurry to reach hut, Vamsi reached 14, but was soon gone. Bhaskar and Sarvanan had a wonderful 10 over spell, which broke the spine of Hunters. Sandeep and Pavan in the middle ensured that Hunters preserved their respect. Sandeep entertained the audience with 3 sixes scoring 38 with Pavan's 17 run support. Hunters were all out for 73 in the end, and Challengers got their much deserved victory.

For his solid 55 Lenin was adjudged MOM. The players thank Umpires from both sides for their amazing services, which are satisfactory.
