Game 3: Quarter Finals vs SPC Tigers
A high voltage game, OCA Mavericks had a job in hand and make a statement. Mavericks didn't have a good start and lost Sandeep cheaply. But Avinash played with a cool head and paced his innings well so that Mavericks reached a tricky total of 107. Avinash was the lone warrior for Mavericks and scored a matured half century. Tigers started of their innings in a commanding fashion but kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Mavericks bowled with high intensity and were backed up with good fielding effort. Pradish bowled a peach of a delivery to get the important wicket of Naveen and knocked the stumps over. Pradish, Bhaskar, Avinash, Sandeep R, Naveen all chipped in with couple of wickets each.Mavericks lived up to the expectation and knocked off the defending champions from the tournament and bundled them for their all time low score of 71 in any of the previous editions of UNCC Night tournaments.
Avinash was again adjudged the Man of the Match.

Game 4: Semi-Finals vs UNCC Reds
Mavericks again batted first, realizing the fact that UNCC are good at chasing but Praveen trusted his bowling department to do the job. Sandeep N and Sandeep R gave an ideal start with both the openers going all guns blazing and posted 87 of the first 6 overs. Sandeep N got out at half way mark scoring a quick 38, which brought the man in form Avinash to the crease. Avinash lived up to the expectations and blasted a 40 of 15 balls. Mavericks posted a healthy total of 161 in their 12 overs. UNCC started of the innings in style with Ali hitting a six of the very first ball. Ali had been in a menacing form, who single handedly chased many targets for his team. But, unfortunately for his team Ali got out with a high full toss thereby allowing Mavericks to gain control of the game. Krish tried his best but the big total got under his nerves and UNCC Reds were bowled out for 125 in 11.1 overs. Avinash the run machine got the man of the match award.

Finals: LCC vs OCA Mavericks
Two well deserved teams made it to the Championship game. LCC was the most settled team in the tournament with strong bowling and batting line up. But Mavericks meant business when it mattered. Mavericks batted first and made it 5 times in a row to bat first. Both the Sandeep's got off to a flying start again and gave the best possible start a captain would ask for especially when playing a strong side as LCC. Openers made sure that they didn't give a sniff to Gowtham, who has been at his best throughout the tournament. Sandeep scored a quick fire 38 and was out again at half way mark. In came the beast, Avinash. Things got worse for LCC as Avinash kept on increasing the run-rate and a phenomenal speed. In the final over of the innings, Avi hit 5 sixes of Naren and gaining the momentum into the second innings. Mavericks ended up with a solid total of 160, which any captain would take it in a championship final. LCC didn't get the start they wanted with Rampi,Sudhir, Gowtham and Apoorva going in quick succession. LCC were 8/4 in 3 overs. Avinash, Pradish n co bowled exceptional line and length and never allowed LCC batsmen to settle in. LCC were bowled out for 75 in 9 overs. Bowlers from Mavericks have been in exceptional form throughout the tournament and were well complemented by the batsmen, especially their openers. Deservingly, OCA Mavericks won the UNCC Night Tournament 2014 beating the best teams that participated in the tournament. Finals MVP: Avinash for scoring a quick 73 off 25 and Pradish for is 3/18
