I was born with a Cricket bat in my hand and a smile on my face. I was born in Sri Lanka and grew up and played cricket in Australia. I first started playing for an under 11 team at the age of 8 years. I then moved onto an under 15 team, my school team and finally on to club cricket at 16. I played in the club first X1 for a two years before moving into a Victorian sub-district club and then finally onto a Victorian District cricket club. I also played in a Sunday limited over competition. Practice on Tuesday and Thursday with matches on Saturday and Sunday was great. I am a right hand batsman. I played as an opening batsman and backup/part-time wicket keeper.

I moved to the US in 1992 and retired from Cricket, until I joined OCC in 2007. OCC is an amazing club with great facilities and members. I love the game. It is a great privilege to be able to play cricket in Nebraska.
