2011 OCC Challenger Series

Omaha Cricket Club and the newly formed Omaha Youth Cricket Association conducted their 6th Annual Challenger Series on August 27th 28th September 10th and 11th at the Levi carter Park grounds. Banquet followed which involved some ethnic food and cultural progams accompanied by raffle drawings, prize giveaway.

2011 OCC/OYCA Summer Camp

OYCA/OCC Conducted a 7 week ( 2 days/week) summer camp for 58 students for the age groups under 7 (Colts), 7-10 ( Broncos) and 11+ ( Mustangs). After the camp OCC conducted a tournament and also presented the students with OCC level I training course certification. This event was a grand success with more than 50 parents participating in it. We received dozens of calls from parents asking for our next edition..

2011 Saddlebrook School, Community center and Library

Omaha Youth Cricket Association and Omaha Cricket Club conducted couple of events "How to Play cricket / Rec's Kids Club House" and "The story of cricket / One world Many stories" at Saddlebrook community center, Saddlebrook Elementary school and Omaha Public library. 100 Students from community center, 80 students from the school and 15 students from Library participated along with 15 teachers.

2011 Paypal Cricket Introduction Camp

OCC conducted a cricket camp for 20 paypal officials keeping their children in our mind. The intended outcome is to train communities to play the sport and also coach them to teach their friends and families. This camp was conducted on sep 8th 2011.

2011 Westside high school Cricket camp

OCC/OYCA conducted a 2-day cricket camp with 11 classes on oct 24th and 25th 2011. Each class consisted of 25-30 students (around 350 students in total) and 5 P.E coaches attended the camp. Bhaskar Krishna, Vijay Yajjala and Dean Thompson from OCC/OYCA conducted these classes as a guest P.E teacher at this high school and Westside district has 12 more schools to go.

2011 St.Mathews Catholic school and church, Bellevue, Nebraska

Omaha Cricket Club/ Omaha Youth Cricket Association conducted Cricket Clinic for the Students at St.Mathews Catholic school and church, bellevue, NE on Sep 27th 2011. Nearly 120 kids and 3 teachers attended and enthusiastically participated in the event. After the clinic, more than 10 teams were formed and played cricket. The event was a great success and the kids were fast learners.

2011 Prairie Hills Community of christ

Omaha Cricket Club/ Omaha Youth Cricket Association conducted a cricket clinic for more than 40 kids at prairie Hills community of Christ school on sep 26th 2011. After the clinic, kids formed 4 teams, played and had fun outdoors playing cricket.

2011 Youth Sports Day

Omaha Youth Cricket association/ Omaha Cricket club conducted a cricket clinic for more than 80 kids and parents on May 7th at Bellevue lied center. Youth sports day was comprised of demonstrations from various athletic clubs and attracted several kids/schools and Coaches/P.E teachers in Omaha and Bellevue regions. After the demonstration, Omaha Cricket Club conducted a couple of cricket matches for the kids. The event was a grand success!!

2011 Cricket Clinic at Brownell-Talbot School

Omaha Cricket Club conducted Cricket Clinic for the Students at Brownell-Talbot School on April 8th 2011. Nearly 250 kids and 30 teachers attended and enthusiastically participated in the event. After the clinic, 4 teams played 2 matches and they surprised us with their tremendous performance. The event was a great success.

2011 Draft - Warhorses (OCC Seniors) vs Mustangs (Current Players)

On the draft day, after a very delicious BBQ lunch, Ex-OCC members came down to play a match and pass on the cricket tradition to the current OCC players. Even the next generation cricket players (kids) participated on this day.

2011 Heartland Cricket League Draft

2011 Heartland Cricket League Draft was conducted on April 10th, 2011 for 70 cricket enthusiasts who exhibited their high-caliber and magnificent cricketing skills.
