Match report Anyone who missed the NCC vs ISU game, missed one of the most exciting games I have ever played in.

I lost the toss and ISU decide to bat first. This worked out well, as I had decided to bowl first, if I won the toss.

After a wayward start, we were able to control the game through some good tight bowling and good ground fielding. ISU was restricted to 70 for 3 in the first 15 overs. Then the wheels fell off our bowling attack and fielding. We dropped some critical catches and got belted around the park. ISU ended up with 231 for 5 after their allotted 30 overs. There were some highlights to our bowling. JJ (1/36 off 6 overs), Jutin (0/38 off 6 overs), Rampi (3/29 off 6 overs) and Bhaskar (1/48 off 6 overs) bolwed well. ISU's Abrar scored a brilliant 101 not out, with a great supporting innings of 52 by Hemanth.

Chasing 232 to win was always going to be a difficult task. We approached the run chase with a positive attitude and built a solid innigs. After 25 overs, NCC was 4/180. That meant we needed 52 runs from 30 balls. Then we needed 42 off 24 balls. JJ and Jutin did a great job to get us to 212 in the 27th over, before Jutin was run out for a brilliant 96. At that point we needed 20 runs from 18 balls. JJ and Francis decide to make the match interesting by taking us to a point where we needed 6 runs from the last over. At the end, NCC won the game by 5 wickets with one ball to spare. We had some great contributions with the bat. Jutin 96 (4 sixes and 6 fours), Nirmal 21 (1 Six), Rampi 23 (2 sixes) and JJ with a quick 36 not out (4 fours).

Man of the Match was awarded to ISU's Abrar for his 101 not out.
