Chargers won the toss and elected to bat first. The Chargers put up a decent total of 124 for loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Lenin, Sandeep Raju and Deepak were the leading scorers for the Chargers.

The Challengers started their chase with Hemanth and Ganapathy who gave them a good start. Later on, it was a show by Anil and Avinash who got going very quickly. By the time Chargers worked on holding back the Challengers from getting away with the game, the damage was already done.Then Bhasker came in with his quick 23 runs of 12 balls to finish the chase of 125 runs in just 17.2 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Overall, it was a good game of cricket with glimpses of excellent batting by players on both sides.
