Match report On a bright, sunny and hot day, Mavericks won the toss and decided to bat first.

Mavericks started off with Satish Anand and Pradeep but both the batsman were dismissed early by some good swing bowling from Saravanan. Praveen and Hiren then tried to steady the innings and put up a decent partnership of 40 runs before Hiren was removed by Lenin. Praveen was unfortunately ran out. Chaitanya and Avinash scored some quick runs in the end to lift the Mavericks score to 145/8 in 25 overs. Hiren and Chaitanya were top scorers with 20 runs each and for Challengers Bhaskar, Saravanan and Lenin took 2 wickets each.

Omaha Challengers chasing a target of 146 had a solid start with Lenin (25) and Bhaskar (23) scoring 52 runs for the first wicket before the later was removed by Hiren. Sandeep camed to the crease and kept the scoreboard ticking. Avinash got rid of Lenin but Prashanth (14) joined Sandeep and both took away the game from Mavericks by putting up 42 runs for the 3rd wicket. Prashanth and Dhana were dismissed in quick succession but Sandeep Nandagiri stayed till the end and sealed the game with a towering six over mid wicket. Omaha Challengers made 148/4 in 21.2 overs and won the game by 6 wickets. Hiren took 2 wickets for Mavs.

Sandeep Nandagiri was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant batting performance of 47 in 41 balls.


Review of the Game: The game was played in good spirit and completed on time. Umpiring was fair and satisfactory.
