Match report In the wake of over cast conditions later in the evening of that day, the game was shortened to 20 overs a side. Mavericks won the toss and decided to bat first. Avinash and Satish Anand opened the innings. Mavericks lost the early wickets of Satish and Praveen. Yashveen(13) joined Avinash(38) and kept the score board ticking. Saravanan broke the partnership by picking up Yashveen and Bharat got rid of Avinash to reduce Mavericks to 74/4. Chaitanya(24) with the help of Pradeep Settipalli (12) and Hiren (12) made sure Mavericks put up a competitive score of 137/9 in 20 overs.

In reply,Challengers didn't have a good start losing the early wicket of Lenin. Meghadeep (14) was joined by Sandeep Nandagiri (22) and were able to build a brief partnership before the former was squared up by a teasing delivery from Avinash. Satish came to the crease and looked good right from start. With little help from bowlers the score reached to 62/2 in 10 overs and looked like Challengers were in control. But, it was Yashveen who turned the things around for Mavericks by picking up the wickets of Satish, Bhaskar and Saravanan. Sandeep who had a lone fight on the other end was unfortunately ran out and the game pretty much slipped away from Challengers. At the end Omaha Challengers were all out for 111 in 18.5 overs.

Mavericks won by 26 runs.

Man of the Match was awarded to Yashveen Mudireddy for his bowling spell of 4-0-18-4.
