Match report The weather set the tone for this game. It was not too hot and not too cold. 65F in Summer, I think everyone will take it.

Hunters won the toss and elected to field first.

Chargers started off with Gopal and Satish and made a steady start. Satish looked rocked solid until he was cleaned up by a peach of a delivery from Vamsi Penaka. Making his debut in Omaha, in came the very talented Abhijit Dey. He couldn't hold on to his nerves and got out trying to go over the covers and dismissed without troubling the scorer. Having lost couple of early wickets, Sandeep and Gopal steadied the ship and were 101/2 at the end of 17 overs. Sandeep had to leave the field due to an emergency. Hunters bowled a very tight line not allowing the batsmen to go for big hits. Cornelius, Karthik, Pradeep, Vamsi were exceptional on the day. Karthik bowled a teasing spell of leg spin and kept the batsmen checking all the time. Gopal almost managed to bat through the innings and made a well compiled 39. Sandeep Raju, Lenin and Rakesh all chipped in at the end of the innings and posted a target of 156 in 25 overs. Pradeep Koganti stood out from Hunters in the bowling department.

In reply, Hunters had a healthy start with Pavan and Praveen Reddy Gudipati and were very much in the drivers seat without loosing any wicket in the first 6 overs. Lenin took the leadership in Sandeep's absence and made the right move bringing in Anjani. Praveen tried lofting Anjani over covers but was caught by Sandeep Raju Rachakatla. Pavan looked positive and was dismissing all bad deliveries to the fence. In came Devkanth Rao and he launched a big hit out of the ground but was cleaned up by the man of moment Gopalakrishna Allam. Chargers were good in the field and Lenin ran out Anil. Though Abhjith failed to make a mark with the bat he did not disappoint when he was asked to bowl. Satish took a exceptional catch of Pradeep and setting the tone in the field. Pavan tried his best and made a solid 41 and he was out by a exceptional catch from Sandeep Raju. Hunters kept on loosing the wickets at regular intervals. At the end, Hunters fell short by 46 runs and were bundled out for 109 runs. Abhijith stood out with 4-0-14-4 and Gopal bowled a tidy spell of 4-0-8-3.
