About Us

Omaha Cricket Club (OCC) is proud to be one of the oldest cricket clubs in the Midwest and was founded in 1991 by a group of cricket aficionados to provide facilities and opportunities to all cricketers in the state of Nebraska. OCC is dedicated to the continuous growth of cricket and popularize the game among schools and communities in Nebraska.

City of Omaha and the Omaha Parks & Recreation Department was generous enough to provide a state-of-the-art ground, set in the heart of the city's best maintained and most picturesque park, the evergreen N P Dodge Memorial Park. It features a matting wicket with regulation size boundaries, as well as two Astroturf practice nets. The ground is adjacent to the park's picnic facilities and includes shaded bleacher seating to watch the game.

OCC members take pride in playing in North Omaha's historic N P Dodge Memorial Park, which has gained a reputation as one of the best grounds in the Midwest and arguably, one of the finest in the nation. N P Dodge Memorial Park is located eight miles north of downtown Omaha and is easily accessible by Interstates 29 and 680.
