2012 Saddlebrook CC Recs kids cricket clinic (8th of 14 comm ctrs)- June 15th

About 128 kids and 7 staff members participated in the clinic. A small sized cricket play area was set up right in front of 10 minute power point presentation to explain the basic fundamentals, the differences & similarities between baseball and cricket. OYCA insisted that the batter's business is with the line not with the base/sticks to avoid kids sliding on to the sticks or tagging the base/sticks with the legs knocking them. Kids caught it fast and led with the bats to the crease.
